What is the "Spotlight Theory" ?
The spotlight theory is the idea you should focus the spotlight and attention on the reader.
You do this by using words like "YOU" instead of "I" -
You can write the same copy/tell the same stories and just replace the words to keep the spotlight on the reader.
"I know how to help people lose 50 pounds and I'll can teach it."
"You can lose 50 pounds if you work with me. You'll know exactly what you need to do."
"Understanding the spotlight theory can be a game changer in your business. Your copy will feel less saley. You'll connect more with the reader and your customers will buy."
"I have used this technique in my business. My customers really responded and I got more sales."
YOUR audience will connect more if you speak to them. Don't talk about yourself. Most people are more interested in themselves. So talk to them.
Tell them how your product or service delivers the result they dream of. Tell them how they have nothing to worry about. They found you and you'll take care of them.
